I have a large track map of the Newberry yard from Lycoming creek to the west end
of the yard. It centers on the S&NY yard and facilities.
At this time it is out for scanning and when I get the everything back I can send you a
copy of that scan if you are interested.

Hello, hope this is still active. I grew up along the S&NY main in Monroeton and have started modeling that line in the LV days. Wondering where you got the engine decals you use. I have two engines and a couple cabooses I need to letter for the S&NY but dread applying all that lettering individually. Anyway really love the website and have really taken inspiration from it.

Thanks and hope this goes through!

      Zach,

The site is still “active” in that I still maintain it, though I realize I haven’t added any new content in a good long while. Been busy with out local NMRA division and grandkids. I’m term-limited out as division superintendent the end of May, and hopefully I can put up some more things after that.

The SNY decals I have were custom made by RailGraphics years ago. The owner retired and they are no longer in business, but there are a lot of custom decal makers out there. No way was I spelling out “Susquehanna & New York” one letter at a time… I believe the closest font match to the SNY I could find was that used by either Northern Pacific or Chicago Northwestern.

Anyway, thanks for your kind words and interest!

      Mike H.
