I recently have come across your web-site and have thoroughly enjoyed your pictures and dialogue. With respect to the work crew I would like to point out the gentleman to the left is Lyal Bond. He would have been a brother of my grandfather. You will also find his picture in your Ellenton archives. I can not name the other two gentleman. However, in a similar picture in the Ellenton archives you will see Lyal Bond again with two other gentlemen. Showing this Ellenton picture to a life long resident of Ellenton, who by the way road the S&NY, he noted the individual wearing the glasses is Ed Miller. One other observation, Lyal Bond after the closing of the S&NY continued his railroad career by later joining the Lehigh Valley Railroad. Thank you again for a wonderful website and the preservation of the S&NY history.
