I grew up along side the S&NY, it butted up against our property, The house that is in the picture is the Mathew’s house. They live on that property still today. The rail yard there used to be the wheat field that was the Apker Farm and they allowed the S&NY to use it. As a young child I got to know a lot of the workers on that rail road and the stories , just wish I could of recorded them. My Great aunt was a school teacher at Masten.
Love the pics!
