Navydoc said he will post in the future. The one photo shows two other men of which I’m trying to identify. However, if you want to send me your email, I can send them to you before then. My email is setaf@frontier.com

Julie, If Steve has difficulty getting them to you let me know, and I can send them to you. I may also have a couple of other photos in my files showing Eli at the throttle of an engine. I will try to dig them out in the next week or two as my work schedule permits and get them to you. Mike H.

Julie, The one picture I sent is of Eli oiling the engine and the second has him on the right of the three. There are some pics of him with #119, but he also drove others. It depended on what was available and or needed. A friend of mine has one of the books from the Monroeton station and Eli is listed as the engineer of other engines besides 119 when the train was logged through. My aunt knew him right away when I first showed her the photos. She just turned 95 and remembers him from when my grandfather worked for the S&NY. I mean no offense, just ask that you look at them again and keep an open mind. There is also a picture of the last run in the back of Kaseman’s book with several of the employees and crew and Eli is identified in that photo also.

    • ok thanks. I will look again. I was only 3 when he passed away so I only have a few pictures from like books but thanks again for the pictures.

I have a couple other things to scan and will send along soon. I have been doing family history for many years and always am glad to help others with this type of thing.

    • thanks. I use to do the ancestry but haven’t done it in a long time and can’t wait till I get some ink so I can print out all those pictures you sent. I’m sure my aunt will be very happy to see them.
